Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) is holding a week-long leadership retreat at the National Leadership Institute (NALI) in Kyankwanzi to strengthen institutional capacity and improve the implementation of government programmes.
OWC Chief Staff Officer Brigadier General James Kaija urged officers to demonstrate decisive leadership, transparency and accountability while upholding the โHands Off, Eyes Onโ principle of effective oversight. He also called for SMART work plans and a โNo More Sleepโ approach to promote discipline, teamwork and results-oriented service delivery.
The retreat seeks to align OWC activities with the Parish Development Model (PDM), Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV), NRM Manifesto and Tenfold Growth Strategy.
The initiative aims to accelerate the transition from subsistence to commercial agriculture, boost household incomes, eradicate poverty and improve livelihoods through coordinated and measurable government interventions.
