The Government of Uganda, through the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGiFT) Programme, has completed the construction of Asamuk Seed Secondary School in Etonu Ward, Asamuk Town Council, Amuria District. The UGX 3.16 billion facility is now awaiting commissioning.
The school features classroom blocks, a modern ICT and library facility, a staffroom and a multipurpose block, improving access to quality secondary education and creating a better learning environment.
During a monitoring visit to the Teso Sub-region, the RDC Secretariat/Anti-Corruption Unit in the Office of the President, led by Maj. Martha Asiimwe, inspected the project as part of efforts to promote transparency, accountability and effective service delivery.
The project reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening education infrastructure and equipping learners with skills to support Uganda’s socio-economic transformation.
